From my heart...

So YC was definitely the best weekend of my life.but now it's over..and I don't know what to do with myself.
It was definitely an amazing time, I got to know my friends way better, I got to know myself a whole lot better and I would like to think I got to know God a bit better too.

I think over the weekend I found out what kind of person I am, and really...in all honesty, I don't like me so much.I'm selfish, I hold grudges, I get mad easily, and I over react to absolutely everything!
The whole weekend God just kind of told me that I need to change the way I'm living, I need to live for him, and not myself. But I don't know how. I suck at change, and I hate it, so this could get bumpy.I don't know why, but I'm sitting here right now crying...I want so badly for everything to change, and to be able to live a Godly life, but I don't know if I can...I don't know if I can just put everything into God's hands and hope it'll work out...I'm too...stubborn, and independent.
This is really hard to deal with, and I know I can't do it alone.
I need God's help, and his love to guide me.

I want so badly to live a brave life for him, to have people look at me and say "wow. something's different about her." But first I have to accept the fact that I am who I am for a reason, God made me this way on purpose, and He loves me.
This might take a while..but I'm hoping that I'll get there eventually.

Eighty-third Post Ever...

So, I definitely just got back from YC!
It was so much fun, I'm not even gonna lie, it changed my life.

(and I'm pretty sure I hung out with Caity too much, I'm starting to sound like her...)

anyways.
So the 14 hour bus ride was..interesting. To say the least! We stopped a couple times, ate food...talked alot, listened to music in anticipation of YC, and all that other good stuff people do on buses. I slept for maybe 2 of the 14 hours.
yeah...I was tired.
When we got into Edmonton they dropped us off at WEM to shop all day. We spent ten flippin' hours in that mall! uh. That was way too long. But I bought some stuff...no jeans though. I wanted jeans. But they do NOT make jeans that fit me. It's not very nice. While @WED we went into GalaxyLand 'cuz JonJon had bought us passes...so we used them! We went on the big swingy thing, and on the funky planet ride, and on the smallish rollercoaster. I was going to go on the big roller coaster, but I didn't have my SWRCB so that was a good excuse.
=]

^us on the small roller coaster in WEM. I paid 4$ just to send this picture to myself!^
So after the mall we drove out to our fivestar, dinky, small, akward excuse for a hotel and checked in and put our stuff down. Then starts the actual trip! We showed up @Rexall place at about 5:30, found our seats and sat. The whole place was completely full! It was a lot of kids. Worship started around eight-ish with David Crowder Band, and that was a REALLY cool way to start off YC. They're amazing live. (most people we saw this weekend are actually WAY better live...) After DCB got off stage Mike Pilivachi came on. That guy is SO hilarious...oh man. It was the best. He talked about how God is always with us, and He likes being with us, and then they had an "alter call" I guess you could call it. There were at LEAST 50-100 people who stood up and gave their lives to God that first night. That was powerful. Then Delirious? came on...and they're so good it's pretty much craziness. The night ended at eleven, we went back to the hotel, watched food chanel and slept. (hotel beds are amazing! I won't ever complain about them again! they're definitely way better than sleeping on a bus.) So the next morning we woke up, and the first thing we did @YC was worship with Lincoln Brewster. I must admit, I'd never heard of them, but they were pretty good. Mike spoke again, this time on how God uses us, even when we're broken, lost, hurt and confused. He made a really good point on how God shows himself through our weaknesses. It was really encouraging to hear. So YC has this crazy "block schedule" thing goin' on, so first block saturday (which was from 12:30-1:30) we didn't do anything. There wasn't really anyone we wanted to see, so we shopped. I bought a hawk nelson t-shirt and a whole WACK of band buttons for on my new purse! It was fun times. Second block we went and saw Panic Squad. Those guys are SO hysterical..it was amazing. The lines to get in were crazy. We basically got eaten by the line to get in, and shoved to the front, so that was good. Chantelle and I left the thing early to get in line for Panic Squad's autographs. They signed my headband. It was pretty neat! Third block Saturday we all went and found seats in Hall D for Leeland. Leeland is a band named after the lead singer, Leeland. Yeah. They were amazing. The lead singer is only 18, and he's got the perfect voice and he seems really mature. It was pretty sweet. Fourth block was the Hawk Nelson concert. <3>

Eighty-second Post Ever...

This is kind of a delayed post..or a late post..or whatever you want to call it.

Basically Erin and I had a picnic like...two weeks ago, and I was gonna blog about it..but I didn't.

So here I am! Blogging about it.
We went out to her house, picked her up, then went to uncle darcy/auntie sharon's place and waited for auntie kendra. While we were waiting we colored on the sidewalk with the COOLEST sidewalk chalk in the world.
Here's our creations.

So they're pretty much amazing if I do say so myself.
I felt like a little kid again!

It was fabulous.
When Auntie Kendra showed up we went out and picked up KFC, the froese's went and got Mcdonalds and we met up @mill lake park!
We ate, had ice cream from an ice cream truck, and walked around the lake.
Overall..it pretty much felt like summer!

It was a good time.
I'm kind of just blogging to kill time between now and 5:20 when I can leave for the church.
We're going to YC.
=]

I'll post pics and fun stuff when I get back!

Much love to you all...

Eighty-first Post Ever...

So I haven’t really been blogging a lot lately..but that’s mostly because I haven’t really been doing much.

I figure I’d update it just so you all know that I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth!

So this weekend we have a bunch of stuff (well..some stuff) planned. Saturday is turkey dinner..just cuz we missed it at Christmas, Sunday is church, and hopefully the bonfire with youth for me! =]
Monday…I’m not sure what we’re doing Monday, but I have youth at the park! We’re playing kickball..I’m excited.

So yeah. Um...OH! I almost forgot! =o YC IS IN SEVEN DAYS! Ohhhmy goodness gracious me. (hah…I copied face.)

Yah…so exactly one week and 61/2 hours from now…I’ll be on a bus to Edmonton!
YAY!!!

Pretty much yeah. The week after that is the HCS banquet-y thing, which is gonna be exciting! I can’t wait to see everyone again..it’s going to be a ball!

School’s been pretty good lately, we’re doing Shakespeare (romeo and juliet) in English, so that’s just AMAZING! I absolutely adore Shakespeare! ^^
Science we’re doing physics…which is easy, but boring.
Spanish..um..I have a test of Friday! Fun times. Past tense verbs, and more intense vocab, and really intense reading comprehension thingys and yah. But it’s getting really fun, cuz I could actually have a normal conversation with someone..in Spanish!

SO yeah…
That’s pretty much life as of now.

Eightieth Post Ever...

Friday.
To do list-
1- Go to school, be bored all day.
2- Go to "the health unit" and get meningococcal + TDP immunizations.
3-Drop sister off @friends house.
4- Go to Staples and buy white out.
5- Go to Boston Pizza and eat supper with mom.
6- Go see Spiderman 3 with mom.

Ok..so not all of that was planned ahead of time...but we did it all! In one afternoon!
crazy stuff huh?

Yeah..so school was boring...because face left early, and shara and all the other band/choir ppl's are gone to on a trip. It's not quite fair.
Anyways....After school I had to go get a shot. NO wait! Two shots! I thought I was only getting the TDP one, but then the lady said that I hadn't had my meningitis one yet..so I got one in each arm...simultaneously! Crazy..I know.
So all afternoon I couldn't use my right arm properly, cuz it's the meningococcal one, and it kiinndd of hurts.

Yah. So I asked mom if she wanted to go with me to see Spiderman 3, and she said sure..so we stayed in that little...plaza-y thing (staples/the theatre/starbucks) ALL afternoon. We ate at BP across from the theatre. It was a fun time. Except our waiter was a liittlee on the odd side...he was EXTREMELY talkative, and very...bubbly. and male.
But hey! who am I to judge right?

Anyways! So Spiderman 3 made me cry. (*watch for movie spoilers below...highlight to read. Be warned! Major spoilers!)
I didn't want Harry to die! It was so amazing, and sad, and dramatic, and adorable, and sad and UH! So not fair. He was soo....so.....amazing. Why did he have to die like that! And just after he had become the good guy again....I loved his last line.."We're friends. Best friends." It was so...amazing. *sigh* But overall it was a very good movie...I would suggest seeing it...It's kind of like Pirates, and LOTR and all those other trilogies...the first one's amazing, the third one's amazing..but the second one is just kind of there to provide some little plot twists for the third one....it's kind of just a bridge between two really good movies. (I really hope this applies for Shrek too, cuz otherwise.....ew.)

All in all..it was a fantastic night!
(I really enjoyed hanging out with you mom...we should do it more often!)

Seventy-ninth Post Ever...

"Spring Swing 2007!"

You all should have been there! We actually had loads of fun, swing dancing and doing that funky east-indian-can/can-thing we did. Goodtimes. Yeah...we were all SO cute (not to brag..hah) Bob, Erin, Amy, Joanna, and I were all there...there were other people..but we didn't really pay attention to those people. (aren't we nice....) Yeah. We are. Annnyyyways. It was a good time.
Saturday morning I got up REALLY early (well...8:30, but that's early for a saturday) to go make cards @church with my mommy! It was like one huge "Stampin' Up" party. It was loads of fun...I felt very creative and artsy when I left. ^-^
Sunday we went to church....and Pastor David Manuel spoke, he's the ICCF pastor at our church. He was really good, I really enjoyed the sermon. He made me laugh....
At about 2:30 that afternoon I went over to RachelG's house (she goes to my youth.) to meet everyone for Shara's surprise sixteenth party! It was great, so we all walked over to Shara's, and we walked into the basement, and she was in shock! It was amazing. Then we played all sorts of games...had supper, played spoons and hung out. It was fun.
(HappyBirthdaylove, if you're reading this.)
Today we came to school....the first part was boring..BUT in english class we're now reading "Romeo and Juliet" so that makes me happy...science is still confusing, because it's these annoying "balancing equations" and "classifying equations" worksheets..rawr. Spanish is still fun...we're learning ALL KINDS of things....and it's basically just cool. We got eliminated in the badminton intramurals today..we played some guys...who beat us. Badly.
=S
Yeah....it's been a fun couple days.
(I will get pictures from friday when I get home....)
I have to go to PEclass...so I'm going to say goodbye for now.
