Seventy-eighth Post Ever...

so.
youth was amazing.
JonJon talked about how "confession is good for the soul" and it was so powerful. I was so moved...I cried.

I've kind of been obsessing over school and whatnot lately, and I've kind of lost sight of my relationship with God, mostly just going through the motions.
I was reading a book...Blue Like Jazz, and in the second chapter it says "I believe that the greatest trick of the devilis not to get us into some sort of evil but rather have us wasting time. This is why the devil tries so hard to get Christians to be religious. If he can sink a man's mind into habit, he will prevent his heart from engaging God."
This hit me hard...and then what Jon said tonight on top of all that...I felt so...guilty.
I don't read my Bible like I should.
I don't spend time with God like I should.
I don't put Jesus on the top of my priorities list like I should be.
I get angry over the stupidest little things.
I'm tempted easily, and sometime's I give in...and just go with the crowd when I know I shouldn't.
And it hurts. It pains me to realize how much I hurt God when I do those things. It hurts my relationship with God, and it hinders my life. The guilt just weighs me down until I feel like I can't do anything anymore.

That's why I cried so hard tonight. And it felt good to cry...to let all the built up frustration and guilt and sadness just rush off me. I feel so relieved now. It's like a tidal wave of emotion just swept through me, and now I'm just barren land ready for God to build on. And I'm excited for it.

As of tonight, I'm new in God. He's going to make a strong tower out of me, and I'm ready for it. I'm ready to go wherever He calls me, wherever I'm needed. I'm so excited.

please pray for me, as this is all EXTREMELY new to me. I feel kind of as if I'm a brand new Christian...and this time, I'm not afraid to share it with the world!

muchlove...

Seventy-sixth Post Ever...

So...I have decided that my posts have gotten a little too....mm...how to say this...boring/bland/routine/mundane etc.

On that thought, I have decided to post something (almost) completely random!
My shoes!
^as you can see...they are the coolest wanna-be Converse's on the planet!^
yeah...Larry is my name, Bob is face's name.
So it's all good.
(I wrote on them mostly becuase I was bored in english class...so that's what I did to occupy myself. And the fact that it looks REALLY cool. And now no one can steal my shoes!)
__________________________________________________
Another thing that is not quite so random..but extremely cool...is the fact that I am playing sports at school by my own free will!
wooaah.

I know, it's crazy. But very true. Karmin and I have started badminton intramurals at school. The first game we played, we played against boys...and we got our butt's kicked...but since then we've played two girl teams and won by a million points. (ok...so 30 isn't even close to a million..but we still won by ALOT) I'm just really scared to play any of the rest of the guy teams....eek.
Here's me....playing badminton.
Cuz I'm just that cool.
And here's chantelle...

Justkidding!
(iloveyou)

Yah.
That was my post....have a great weekend everyone!

(broken remotes/ooohthediponthefloor/pop/'you like to move it'/face/screaming at 'nucks/screaming at dallas/talking/laughing at chantelle..i mean...NOT at chantelle/etc)
pretty much.
so Canucks win. that's it.
end o' story.

Seventy-fourth Post Ever...

Setenta y cuatro...¡Ah! So I'm going to start writing in english instead..it's much faster anyways, and there are no limits on the words that I can recognize...except for maybe the word "asclepiadaceous." (go google!)

Anyway. In case you didn't catch all of my cool Spanish lingo, I was basically talking about my classes and how amazing they are. "Cience es mi clase favorita." I love science class. It's amazing. And fun. And hilarious. And stuff. *hmm* ^^
(lol..face.)

Yeah, um...what have we done since last I was on here...hmm.....OH! my. I forgot..hehe.

WE SUN-RUNNED! It was great fun, Shara came with, so did all the other folks. Except Auntie Monica, who was in Calgary. (we missed you!) It was an extremely fun two+half hours of walking!

I did 30-hour-famine. Awesome-est night of the year....er..no..of the month. We'll stick with that. We did a lot of random running around, movie watching, coloring, picture taking, sleeping (in random spots), hanging out in the prayer room and talking. AND no eating! It was pretty weird. But now I realize how the kids all over the world with nothing to eat feel like. AWFUL! It was so hard watching my family eat supper, and not being able to eat with them! I ate pretty much four full meals the day after. I am in love with food. ohmy.

Sunday Chantelle and I went to go see TMNT. Extremely funny movie. It was awesomely corny and hilarious. I like it.
OHMYWORD! Easter was the best. ever. sweet times. I want it to happen ALL over again...right now. UH! So much fun! (thanks by the way to everyone who helped organize it...it was pretty much spectacular!) I have a couple pictures if you want them...here they be:

_____________________________________________
Today at school we had some big East Indian harvest festival celebration thing, all the EastIndian kids got all decked-out in their traditional dress, and they gave us free samosas (of which I had three..heh.yes!), and they had an eating competition (which Mr. Macphail won, he was the only white guy up there! pretty sweet.) , and they danced for us! They had this national championship team of like..ten year olds, come in and do a routine (or five) for us. It was pretty cool. And very funny. When all of the high school EastIndian guys were up doing their funky jigs, this one guy Allan (who is like..just about as white as you can get) got up and was dancing with them.
Good times.

That pretty much covers my past week(or so.)

Seventy-third Post Ever...

¡Hola!

[If they were to read that, there would probably be a BILLION and one things wrong with it, but that's OK!]

So in case you didn't get all that, we're going to a wedding this summer, and there's going to be dancing! (which makes me REALLY excited). PLUS we're probably going to Colombia sometime in the fall. (which makes me even MORE excited!)

School's been great for the past couple of weeks, I got 96% on my genetics test! (booyeah!) I'm whizzing through my chemistry unit (PROBABLY because I know it all already...thanks uncle torrey!) =] Spanish is really fun, we're learning some cool stuff like..."Dobla a la derecha en la calle Shuttle, y mi casa es a la izquierda." OH! I'm the best. Yeah. Drama class is HILARIOUS, it's just an awesome break in the middle of my day...PE class is really..strange. We're doing football, and it's actually really pathetic. (it's an all girls PE class, and most of them don't know how to play sports period, let alone FOOTBALL) *sigh* Whatever. English is..hmm...pointless. We're reading "To Kill A Mockingbird," and I'm sorry to anyone who likes this book, it's pointless. The two or three times that I've tried to catch up on the assigned reading while at home, I've fallen asleep about five minutes in. Yeah. B-O-R-I-N-G. All my teachers are great though! Which makes up for the class being...wacked.

More news...hmm...OH! I'm doing thirty-hour-famine starting at midnight tonight! So...I'm gonna be hungry. (ohchantelle...in case you didn't know, this saturday you and I are going to see TMNT, and anyone else can come...) Justina's leaving on saturday morning, it makes me sad. I'm gonna miss 'er...again. Other stuff I'm doing..err...planning on going to the island over the May long weekend, because I miss the Ciro's...already. I love them. And the weekend after that is YC! GoYC! I'm really really excited for that, it's going to be a blast! Pretty much yeah.

So I think I'm done typing....

¡Hasta luego!

Seventy-second Post Ever...

So I'm back again!

Today has actually been a really boring day so far...it's kind of been just....boring I guess. Last night my family stole me from my homework (kind of...well I kind of consented but that's ok) and took me to see "Meet the Robinsons" and it was actually really good! I knew it was going to be funny, but it was actually a really cool story too! Lot's of really intense plot twists and interesting character development and such....
=P

Yeah...monday night was youth, and I was on worship..so mommy made me thin-pancakes! With whip cream! (which I don't like by the way) So yeah, youth was awesome! We sang the "hosana" song..which was really cool! I like that song...and it was just a really powerful night. OH! And Bob actually came! She had to work that night...and she told me she wasn't going to come, but she showed up! and it made me happy! And then we got cotton candy! I like cottoncandy.

Yeah...I was supposed to hang out with my youth people on Sunday after church, but no one actually wanted to go, or could go...so I went home and Nicole and I watched three episodes of Atlantis. Great fun. *hmmm*

That's pretty much it I guess! I'm really excited for tomorrow, because I have a double block of science and that's always fun...and the Rogalsky's might show up in the evening.....OH! and the Ciro's are coming tomorrow.....OH! and Uncle Hugo's coming tonight! I'm excited....because then he can proofread my Spanish letter. (my spanish letter is a letter that I have to write in my spanish class to someone who's in the same kind of class as I am...but in Chilliwack! It's very cool...we've already sent each other one letter each! It's fun.)

I have nothin else to say!

Seventy-first Post Ever...

Hello again!

I'm trying to get back into the habit of posting more often..I kind of neglected this page for a while...but it's slowly coming back!

So last night I went to a birthday party, Shantel's sweet sixteen to be exact! It was actually loads of fun! We went lazer-tagging and we ate cake (that was amazing!) and we opened gifts (well she did anyways.) and we watched "facing the giants." It was fun! OH! and after the boys left we watched "one night with the king" which was good! Very much like LordOfTheRings....odd.

Anyways...it was fun! And we went to bed at three...AM. yeah! fun times! And the night before that I had Caity over. (my friend from youth) It was pretty fun.
yup.

And I'm extremely excited for these next two weekends! This weekend of course being easter, and the next being the sun run! =]

that's all for now!
Ciao.
