Sixty-sixth Post Ever...

YEAHH!!! the big 66.
(I guess it's not all that momentous, but I don't really care, it's a big moment for me. *sniff...*)

Well that was good practice!!! How much of that could you actually understand!?!? I understand the entire thing!!! I WROTE the entire thing! I'm so proud of myself. *proud smirk on face*

So this past week, I've really been feeling God pull me towards a kind of ministry in my school. It seems everyone that I've talked to has talked about ministering to those around me. At youth our pastor talked about how you can reach out and get people to follow no matter what their walk of life. At bible study at school on wednesday, I think everyone there kind of felt a tug on their hearts to reach out to our friends, and even the people that we're not neccisarily friends with. We had a kind of youth/worship night at school on thursday night, and the whole emphasis there that night was to reach out to the lost people in our school. Then today in church we had a missions service, where the director of MBMSI spoke and told us that God will give us nations as our inheritance, if we ask him. He testified to the power of prayer, and he had some amazing stories!!! I don't really need nations...I mean, I want nations to turn to God, that would be fabulous, but what I really want, right now, is my school. I feel like God has really given me a heart to reach out and touch the people in my school who don't know God like I do, and who don't have an everlasting joy like I do. (even though I may not look very joyful all the time.)
So the whole point of this was to kind of rally everyone up, and to try and get a support group of prayer warriors out there, who are praying for God to give us this school, and not only my school, but all of the schools in Abbotsford. Why not all of CANADA! Becuase God tells us that he will give us anything. ANYTHING! No where does He define the meaning of anything as being, anything smaller than ____. (you fill in the blank.)

I have a sort of goal set. I want at least 10 people from my school to come with me to "CityWide." (it's this huge youth/prayer/worship rally thing that all of Abbotsford's youth is going to.)

That's basically what's been going on this past week. (for me at least.)

Have an awesome next week....I'll see you all later!!!

Sixty-fifth Post Ever...

OK!

I have an amazing discovery (or two) to share with everyone!

Are you ready for this....I FOUND "how to draw the pigeon in 10 easy steps!!!"

(those of you who have read the books will know what I speak of.)

It's soo cool, so cool in fact, that I had to spend about 20minutes making it into JPG format so that I could put it on here!

Here it be.

<3>

Anyways. That was pretty much fabulous! So I tried it on my own, and I actually got it to look like the pigeon!!! So happy.

That's pretty much the only thing I'm posting about.

that and the fact that I GOT CHOCOLATE!
yes... so cool!

And! [one last thing] The counter up above all of these posts is for YC [youth convention/conference....i dunno] in Edmonton that my youth goes to! I've never been, and it's a long time from now and I'M STILL EXCITED!

woot.

Sixty-fourth Post Ever...

Ok....first things first.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NICOLE!!!
love you.

aaannd...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!
love you too.

K...so there IS a reason I haven't posted in so long. This reason is that I have been super busy with Seussical! (In case y'all didn't know, seussical was the musical that my school did!) It was so amaYzingly fun! Pretty awesome. We've been practicing since like, beginning of October, and it's been A BLAST the whole time! It was an incredible experience. I didn't have a lead role, but even being in the "chorus (or backup) group" was great. We got to do some really funky choreography, and the costumes were actually quite cool too.

So yeah. Last night was our last performance out of six. (sooo tired....zzzzzzz)

It was SO much fun.
I'm going to do it again next year! Hahah!

I just have to edit some pictures, and then I'll stick them on here!

TTFN!

Sixty-third Post Ever...

So here I am. In Manitoba...with DIAL-UP internet!!! Ommmgoodness.

sooooo wierd. I had actually forgotten that Dial-up still existed! Just goes to show how spoiled us "city-folk" are. Well...I'm here, in Elm Creek where there is no wifi service, no malls that are two seconds away and where there's tons of snow.

We had a snow fall just two nights ago, and we got a foot of snow! rawr. I really don't like snow.

ANyways......Just wanted to let you know that I'm still here...I haven't dissapeared...I've just been in the middle of [almost] nowhere for a while.

Happy New Year everyone!

I'll post more when I get back home.
