Quote of Today (in case you need reminding, this isn't a real post)

Children: You spend the first 2 years of their life teaching
them to walk and talk. Then you spend the next 16 years
telling them to sit down and shut-up.

Twelfth Post Ever...

(I really don't know how to spell twelfth...but hey! whatever)

Ok, so I haven't posted here in quite a while. So here I am, posting! K, well, not a whole lot is new around here. Just lots of school being done. And I'm going to Kelsey's for a while over spring break! That should be fun!!! UH! We watched the season finale of Stargate Atlantis Season Two, and it's like a killer cliff-hanger, gotta hate that. Oh well, guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. Anyways...

I finished my ode...I think. Everyone here says it's good, but if there's a way to make it longer, I would... here goes...

Ode To A Refrigerator Light

Refrigerator lights, they glow so bright,
guiding me through my kitchen at night.
They glow like fireflies, sitting in your fridge,
always making sure that you can find your cabbage.
Every time you open the door you are greeted by a sunrise,
a sunrise that shows you your fridges insides!
Refrigerator lights, they show me all my food,
that always puts me into a good mood.

Quote of the Day:
It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.

See you all later =D

Eleventh Post Ever...

Today was pretty fun, I guess. I had to get up at like 8:30 so I could get ready to babysit...I'll never survive getting up so early next year!!! Oh my goodness, how do you people do it! Sometimes I envy you, but I love sleeping in, so nevermind. Well I went to babysit this morning, the kids were ok, they didn't seem to mind that it was just me without Justina. For those of you who didn't know, I took over Justina's old babysitting job, but I went with her two times before she moved, so the kids could get to know me better before it was just me. The twins (Frank and Fred) are really cute, and the little girls (Katelyn and Emily) are pretty fun too. So it's not so bad, and I get money out of it, so it's all good! When I got home I did a bunch of school work, and planned out my math so I can hand it in on time. So yeah, we get poutine for supper, which is FANTASTIC, and ya. That's pretty much it. Oh, and I have to write an "Ode" to something, but I'm not sure what yet. Anyway, I will post my ode here when it's complete.

Quote of Today:
Only two things are infinite. The universe and human stupidity.

Enjoy, and have a great evening!

Tenth Post Ever...

We had an awesome weekend in Calgary, went shopping, got build-a-bear stuff, saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith(it was really funny), and went hiking and stuff. So yeah, we had a great time with Justina and Stephen and all those folks out there.

Anyway, a couple posts back I mentioned that I was going to put the rough draft of my poem here for constructive critisism, so here it goes:

Someone

When someone you love moves away, what do you do?
When someone you love leaves you in the dark, what do you do?
When someone you love doesn’t love you back, what do you do?

Do you cry and wish it had never happened?
Do you try and get over it and find someone new?
Do you move on and try to forget them?

When someone you love moves away, it’s painful.
When someone you love leaves you in the dark, it hurts.
When someone you love doesn’t love you back, your heart breaks.

You want to cry and wish it never happened.
You want to get over it and find someone new.
You move on and try to forget them.

But when someone you love moves away, it’s okay to cry.
When someone you love leaves you in the dark, it’s okay to move on.
And when someone you love doesn’t love you back, it’s okay to try and forget them.

But crying doesn’t change your love for them.
But moving on doesn’t change the way you love them.
But trying to forget them doesn’t change how you feel for them.
You will always love someone, no matter what they do to you,
That feeling will never change if you truly love them.

Seventh Post Ever...

Hi to all!

Today is going to be one of the more boring days of my life, I got up, did my hair, all that jazz, and now...all I have to do is school.

Well, I have a poem to write so I will post again later.

I'll post my rough draft of my poem here, and I'm looking for constructive critism.

Sixth Post Ever...

Well, my posting has kinda died down the past few days. Cause there hasn't really been any thing to blog!

Kelsey had the most excellent idea...I shall tell you all the places I want to go!

-New York (I'm going, for my birthday..hehe)
-Ireland/Scotland (It'd be so pretty there!)
-Australia (I want to see the Opera house...)
-China (Shopping!!!)
-San Fransisco (I don't know why exactly)
-Miami/Waikiki/San Diego/Maine/any other American city
-Quebec (I want to go skating on the river)
-Africa (again...I hardly remember living there)

So yeah...

Here's my quote of the day:

"If Alexander Graham Bell had a teenage daughter, he never would have invented the telephone."

Fifth Post Ever...

This is the song that runs under the credits
These are the credits, so this is where it goes
Has nothing to do with the movie so we’ll say
Hey! Hey! Hey hey hey hey hey hey

There once was a song, that ran under the credits
That went with the movie, but this is not that song
Has nothing to do with the movie so we’ll say
Hey! Hey! Hey hey hey hey hey hey

Wouldn’t it be nice if the song under the credits,
Had something to do with the movie you just saw
But that’s not the case so for now we’ll have to say
Hey! Hey! Hey hey hey hey hey hey

There should be a rule that the song under the credits
Remotely pertains to the movie’s basic plot
That rule has not been made so for now we’ll have to say
Hey! Hey! Hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey!

That was the song that roles under the credits from "Jonah, a Veggie Tales Movie"

From now on whenever you see credits, you should sing that song!

Anyway, all I've really done today is school, and played a game with the little girls. I need to write a poem now for English so I shall't post later!!! (is shall't a word..I think I've heard it before...oh well)

Fourth Post Ever...

So, fourth post. That's a new thing for me. I've never had a fourth post on here before. Oh well, there's a first time for everything I 'spose.

We got home yesterday with Chrisaleen after a tearful good-bye at the airport. Auntie Tracy and Uncle Hugo are probably in Frankfurt by now, or out of it, I'm not sure. But they are going to have so much fun! It just isn't fair the luck of some people. Because I never get to travel! =D

My Quote of the day for today is:
"The evening news is when they begin with "Good Evening" and procede to tell you why it isn't."

I heard this and thought it was funny, and yet so true!!!

Check back tommorow for my NEXT quote of the day!

t-t-f-n! Ta ta for now!
